Ingredients
For the Crust
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
For the Filling
4 cups sliced apples (any variety)
2 tbsp arrowroot flour
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
For the Crumble
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
Make the Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, mix almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan to form an even crust.
Bake for 10 minutes and set aside.
Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with arrowroot flour, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Layer the apple mixture evenly over the baked crust.
Make the Crumble
In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, chopped walnuts, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
Bake the Pie
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let the pie cool for 15 minutes before serving.
