Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups biscuit dough, rolled into small balls

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, onion, carrots, celery, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  4. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  5. Drop the biscuit dough balls on top of the chicken mixture.
  6. Cover and cook for an additional hour on high, or until the dumplings are fluffy and fully cooked.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your hearty comfort food meal.
