Ingredients

For the crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping or heavy cream, whipped

For the topping

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • Crushed peanuts (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the crust

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.

Make the filling

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping or whipped cream gently until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over the prepared crust.

Add the toppings

  1. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the cheesecake.
  2. Sprinkle crushed peanuts if desired for extra crunch.

Chill and serve

  1. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  2. Slice and serve chilled.
