Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks

For the Coconut Pecan Topping

  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

Prepare the Crust

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Place in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the filling.

Make the Cheesecake Filling

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until no streaks remain.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over the prepared crust. Return to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.

Prepare the Coconut Pecan Topping

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and sweetened condensed milk over low heat.
  2. Stir until the mixture thickens slightly, about 3 minutes. Allow to cool.

Assemble the Cheesecake

  1. Once the cheesecake is set, spread the coconut pecan topping evenly over the top.
  2. Return to the refrigerator for 1 more hour before serving.
