Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl
  3. combine the chocolate cake mix
  4. 1 egg
  5. and melted butter. Mix until a thick dough forms. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl
  7. beat the cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. Add the powdered sugar
  8. vanilla extract
  9. and the remaining 2 eggs. Mix until well combined.
  10. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate base in the baking dish. Spread evenly with a spatula.
  11. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top for extra gooeyness.
  12. Bake for 40-45 minutes
  13. or until the edges are set but the center is slightly gooey.
  14. Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
