Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss the butternut squash with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes, until tender.
In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Roll out the pizza dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Top with roasted squash and cooked sausage. Add Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Optionally, top with fresh arugula before serving.
