Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and olive oil.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the maple mustard mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme before serving, if desired.
