Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with oil.
Crack the egg into the pan and fry until the edges are crispy but the yolk remains runny. Set aside.
In a serving bowl, place the cooked rice.
Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice.
Top with the fried egg.
Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, and seaweed flakes if desired.
Serve immediately and mix well before eating.
