Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 package (8 oz) lo mein noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bell peppers)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove steak and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the mixed vegetables and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and mix in the cooked noodles.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper. Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and stir well to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend. Serve hot.
