Ingredients

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 can (12 oz) lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or Mountain Dew)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut each apple into 8 slices.
  3. Wrap each apple slice in a crescent roll triangle and place in the prepared dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon until well combined. Pour over the wrapped apples.
  5. Pour the lemon-lime soda around the edges of the pan (not directly on the rolls).
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm.
