Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 oven-safe bowls
  • Cooked lasagna noodles, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Layer the ingredients in each oven-safe bowl: start with a strip of lasagna noodle, followed by the ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until bowls are full.
  6. Top each bowl with a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
